Welcome back! we are currently in Nosara, and we think we have officially landed in our favourite place. Can’t believe we almost didn’t come here! and the reason we didn’t almost come was the fact that this spot is a little bit more difficult to get to. In our last post, we started exploring what Nosara has to offer, but then something unexpected happened…

This week is the week I believe things happen for a reason. Firstly I made a mistake with our Air Bnb booking, I was mesmerised by the pool and didn’t look at all the details correctly, which meant I didn’t notice it didn’t have a kitchen. We have been travelling Costa Rica for now 2 months and to save money we like to cook from home.

This led to us talking to our host and one thing lead to another, first a beer on the porch then chats about possibly moving here which lead to us being introduced the next day to her friend that knew a guy that was selling land. We wanted to buy land straight from a local or the owner rather than a real estate company. But honestly, we didn’t know what to expect.

The next day we loaded the car and followed him to the land, he showed us 3 pieces but immediately fell in love with the first. watch the video to see our reaction and how it all unfolded.
